Murray Feldman


FOX 2 anchor and money man  Murray Feldman  joined the station in 1976.  He has been on the air longer than anyone else in Detroit Television. You can see him every week night anchoring the 5:30 pm news with Sherry Margolis. His popular Job Shop segments  appear in all FOX 2 newscasts. His Murray Money Minutes  air during FOX 2 News Morning. 

Originally from Philadelphia, Murray graduated in 1973 from Emerson College in Boston with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications. He has interviewed a half dozen Presidents and leaders of some of our biggest corporations.

Murray has worked in radio and television in New Jersey, Syracuse, New York, Providence, Rhode Island before coming to Detroit.  He also is heard daily on WWJ NEWSRADIO 950 where he hosts The Feldman Report.

Murray loves speaking to local groups about the economy, money and business trends and volunteering for community causes.

Favorite Interview: any of the Presidents, George H.W. Bush,Ford, Clinton, Reagan, Obama.

What do you order at a coffee shop? Coffee medium cream and one Equal 

Favorite vacation spot: Hilton Head Island 

Your inspiration: My children, seriously—I learn so much from watching how they negotiate life's situations

Family: Wife - Marla, Daughter - Katie married to Andrew with children Ariella and Sydney, Son - Rob

Hometown: Philadelphia, Pa.

First job: Driving a truck for my father's business in southern New Jersey.

Best advice you were ever given: be honest-try to do the right things-always carry a handkerchief—from my father.
