Guys often don't take care of their health - so we're teaming up with the MIU Men's Health Foundation to raise awareness about men's health issues!
The MIU Men's Health Foundation is a nonprofit that is committed to awareness, research, education and treatment of prostate cancer and other men's health issues.
There are big events in spring and fall with something for everyone!
Men's Health week always falls in June and MIU Men's Health Foundation always has a variety of events with something for everyone. From motorcycle rides to a Cogs and Kegs (a biking event that ends at a brewery) it all leads to Michigan's biggest prostate cancer run/walk - the Run for the Ribbon.
We know, we know - guys don't like going to the doctor - so lets just call this a fun event at Ford Field that happens to have free health screenings, good? The annual Men's Health Event is a great opportunity to get free health screenings and you don't need health insurance.
