FOX 2 working for you with a list of local charities that come to your home to pick up your donated goods. The best part?  Your donation supports those in need!

Any gently-used clothes, shoes, furniture, electronics, and more are accepted by the following non-profits to help people in the metro Detroit community. All you have to do is place your stuff outside, call for pickup, and the deed is done!

Pickup Fee: FREE
Accepted Items: Clothing, household items and small furniture
Your Donation Benefits: people with disabilities or special needs and their families, so they can successfully live, learn, work and play in their communities. Items are sent to therapists for distribution to clients throughout metro-Detroit; money comes back to local community.

Furniture Bank:

Pickup Fee: FREE if items are outside; $20 if Furniture Bank must enter home
Accepted Items: Sofas, sofa-beds, and love seats, dressers, dining table, chairs, mattresses, box springs, bunk beds and bunk bed frames.

Accepted Items: Clothing, shoes, bedding items/linens, houseware & glassware, jewelry, toys, video games, bikes, large and small appliances, electronics, books, jewelry, outdoor/lawn equipment and more.
Scheduled Date of Pickup Required: Yes,10-14 days in advance.
