Donate school suppplies with this year's Operation Backpack Stuff-A-Bus

All kids should start school with the right supplies! Join FOX 2, 96.3 WDVD, Kroger and Volunteers of America Michigan for Operation Backpack!
Children who have the right tools perform better in school.  That's why we team up for Operation Backpack - to help make sure local children throughout our area have the tools they need to succeed!
There are two ways you can help:
Option 1:
Bring new items for school to any area Kroger now through September 13th!  You can bring new school supplies to the store, or you can pick up a $7 school supply kit at Kroger and drop it into the bin at the front of the store!
Option 2:
This weekend, August 25-28, help us Stuff a Bus!
There will be four Kroger locations where you'll find a bus - help us fill them with supplies!
  • LIVONIA KROGER, 33523 Eight Mile Road (West of Merriman Road)
  • SHELBY TOWNSHIP KROGER, 2058 25 Mile Road, Shelby Township (East of Dequindre Road)
  • TROY KROGER, 1237 Coolidge Highway (North of East Maple Road)
  • WATERFORD KROGER, 5111 Highland Road (West of Crescent Lake Road)
All supplies go to Volunteers of America Michigan to be distributed with help from Operation Kid Equip to local children in need. One in four children in Michigan lives in poverty. Help those kids start school with confidence.
On VOA's website, you can find several age-specific supply lists to help you shop for items!
