(Detroit, MICH.) - Heart disease is the number one killer of women, taking the life of 1 in 3 women every year. American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women celebrates the energy, passion and power of women who come together to wipe out heart disease and stroke.
The annual Go Red for Women Luncheon will take place on Friday, February 12, 2016 at the Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center. It’s a time for women to Speak Red, because heart disease is no match for the power of women’s voices.
Heart disease is also known as the silent killer. But with your help, many more voices can be heard, and more deaths prevented.
You can help by volunteering, donating, or attending the Go Red Luncheon. For more information, visit their website - www.detroitgoredforwomen.org.
