Real life Ashley Smith from 'Captive' tells her story

In 2005, Brian Nichols broke out of a courthouse jail, killed a judge, a stenographer, a customs officer and a sheriff's deputy, and then took a woman named Ashley Smith hostage for several hours. She was a drug addict and their time spent together changed both of their lives.
After spending several hours with Smith, Nichols released her from captivity and turned himself in - and she has not touched drugs since that day. The story is now a Hollywood film that's out in theaters this weekend, Sept. 18. It stars David Oyelowo as Brian Nichols and Kate Mara as Ashley Smith.
VIDEO: The real-life Ashley Smith, now Ashley Smith Robinson, joins us on Live at Eleven to talk about her experience with Nichols and talk about the new movie.
David Oyelowo was also recently in the FOX 2 Studio to talk about the new movie. You can watch his interview here.
