Detroit police are at the scene where five people were shot, one fatally, on the city's east side Thursday night.
The shooting happened at 8:30 p.m. Gunston and Nashville, just south of McNichols near the Coleman A. Young International Airport, according to Detroit police. No suspect is in custody.
A 26-year-old man was fatally wounded. The other victims, according to police, are a 24-year-old man, a 26-year-old man, a 23-year-old man and a woman, with no age given yet for her.
Two of the victims are in serious condition, according to the Michigan State Police Twitter account.
All the victims were outside a house at the time of the shooting, which appeared to be a drive-by, according to Capt. Darin Szilagy, Detroit police.
No details have been released about the suspect or circumstances.
A black Oldsmobile Alero is the vehicle police are looking for in the shooting, Szilagy said.
