Severe thunderstorms roll into SE Michigan

- A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for Wayne County until 11:45 p.m.

The National Weather Service in Detroit/Pontiac said that the storm cells have 60 miles per hour wind gusts and penny size hail. 

Expect Downriver to bear the brunt of the cells, which will be hitting Dearborn and cities south. The storms are moving at about 55 miles per hour.

Power outages have been reported in Brighton due to tonight's strong storms, with scattered reports trickling in around the metro Detroit area.
