Many school closings have rolled in for Friday as a wind chill warning is issued for southeast Michigan.
A Wind Chill Warning has been issued for all counties in metro Detroit until 12 p.m. Friday with wind chills ranging from 10 below to 30 below zero.
The National Weather Service warns that, due to the dangerously cold wind chills, frostbite can occur in as little as 10 minutes on exposed skin.
Detroit and the area will once again struggle to get above single digits. This is the tenth day of this extended cold snap but we may finally 'warm up' by getting above freezing next week.
