Part 1: The open-carry law

A gun rights advocate triggered the shutdown of a local high school this week.

He's not the only one who likes to walk around in public with a loaded weapon. In Michigan, it's legal.

But is it also dangerous?

On the panel:

Elijah Woody, open carry activist

Jim Makowski, defense attorney

Neil Rockind, attorney

Rev. Ralph Godbee, former Detroit Chief of Police

Charlie Langton, FOX 2 legal analyst, host and reporter

Part 2: Raises for Detroit officials

With Detroit's bankruptcy over, some Detroit officials want a raise.

City Clerk Janice Winfrey and City Council President Brenda Jones are asking a special city commission for bigger paychecks.

Both say they haven't had a raise in years and even took pay cuts back in 2010. But do they deserve more money at the same time retirees are seeing their pension checks cut?

On the panel:

Adolph Mongo, political consultant

Karen Dumas, former Detroit City Hall advisor

Steve Hood, host of Detroit Wants to Know

Charlie Langton, FOX 2 legal analyst, host and reporter

Let It Rip: On The Road

Langton goes on the road and asks some Detroiters if some city officials should get raises.
