Police arrest man, rescue 3 sex trafficking victims in SW Detroit

- Three women were rescued by police on the southwest side of the city in a suspected sex trafficking operation.

Investigators arrested a 69-year-old man after finding the women inside a home located in the 3000 block of Electric, east of Fort Street.

Two 31-year-old women were inside, as well as a 40-year-old woman. They have all been taken to a nearby hospital. Detroit police, Michigan State Police and the FBI are at the scene.

After speaking with the women, police believe two teen girls were also at the home but have disappeared. You can read more about the search for the teens here.

Descriptions weren't immediately given for the teens.

Police originally received a tip that four people were dead inside, but after arriving there found no bodies.

One neighbor said that the home had been suspected for prostitution and drugs.
