Bass Brew & BBQ Festival

The Bass Brew & BBQ Festival is at Lake St. Clair August 28-30. It's full of fishing, craft beer, barbecue and family fun. 
 
Part of the fun is the Plano Bassmaster Elite, in which anglers compete with a daily weigh-in. You can read more about that competition here
 
The Bass Brew & BBQ fun is Friday and Saturday from noon - 8 p.m., and Sunday from noon - 6 p.m. You can get more information on that festival here

In one of the segments, we talked with Crews Inn on the Clinton River. They shared their recipe for Tournedo of Beef Henry VIII, which you can find below. 

INGREDIENTS
(2) 4 ounce Beef tenderloins
artichokes
garlic
salt
pepper
oregano
basil
bordelaise sauce
oil
flour
au jus
red wine
 
BEEF RECIPE
Heat oil in a sauté pan. Coat the beef medallions in flour and when pan is hot place beef in pan. Sear beef on both sides bring to temperature.
 
SAUCE RECIPE
Heat sauté pan with oil. Add garlic, salt, pepper basil oregano and artichokes. Add red wine and let reduce. Add the bordelaise sauce.  
 
Place beef on plate and top with the bordelaise sauce mixture.
