(WJBK) - Our pet this week is Daisy. She is a 6 year old Corgi/Jack Russell mix. According to Joanie Toole from the Oakland County Animal Shelter and Pet Adoption Center she seems to be better with female humans than with male humans. She gets along well with other dogs. She can be shy, so going slow with her would be a must. A quiet home, with older children would be preferred. A fenced in yard or daily walks would be needed. Corgis and Jack Russells are very active breeds, couch potatoes need not apply. For more information about Daisy contact the Shelter at (248) 391-4100 or visit the website at www.oakgov.com/petadoption.
