Some of us just love it, and others are just ready for it to be over. Psychotherapist Amy Ryberg joins us on this segment of Living the Life to talk about the psychology of Halloween.
She says for those of us who don't like being scared, they may have had a relative scare them when they were younger. Others may think on the religious aspect of the holiday, and believe by celebrating you're inviting evil spirits into your life.
She says, on the flip side, an adrenaline rush comes with being terrified that people enjoy. Others may enjoy taking on a different persona on the holiday when they dress up in costume.

Turkey Quinoa Meatballs
Paired on TV with cranberry orange sauce and Asian sesame glaze
2.5 lbs. Ground Turkey
1 cups Cooked Quinoa
1/4 cup grated Onion
1/4 cup grated Carrot
1/2 cup grated Zucchini
3 tbsp. Minced garlic
1.5 tbsp. Soy sauce
.5 Tbsp. Salt
.5 Tbsp. Pepper
.5 Tbsp. Dried Oregano
.5 Tbsp. Dried Thyme
1.5 ea. Egg
1.5 cups Bread crumbs
Mix together all ingredients until well combined. Refrigerate for one hour. Using a scoop form into balls. (Trick: rub a little oil in your hands before forming balls to get a smooth sphere shape). If the mix is to lose, add a little more breadcrumb to stabilize. Place balls on parchment lined sheet pan and bake in 350-degree oven, turning every few minutes. Cook for 15 minutes. Let cool in refrigerator before serving.
