The 43rd annual SOCK (Support Our Capuchin Kitchen) dinner will be held Friday, October 16, 6-9 PM at the Cobo Center's Grand Riverview Ballroom. Considered by many to be one of the largest fundraising events in Detroit, this year's dinner will be chaired and hosted by Daniel and Amy Loepp. Mr. Loepp is president and chief executive officer of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan.
Tickets are $250 per person and include dinner, cocktails, musical entertainment, and the After Glow event.
Second Helping After Glow: The 9th Annual Second Helping After Glow will take place Friday, October 16, 9 pm -12:30 am at the Cobo Center's Grand Riverview Ballroom. Tickets are $50 per person and include two free drink tickets, music, dancing, and more. In 2008, a group of young professionals created the Second Helping After Glow event in the hope of getting the next generation involved with the Capuchin Soup Kitchen.
