(WJBK) - The House of Providence is holding its annual Wishes Gala this month on Friday, November 13. The gala benefits minors who are wards of the state of Michigan. It is at the Royal Park Hotel in Rochester at 6 p.m. Strolling hors d'oeuvres and dinner will be served.

Lasagna Spedini - serves four people
4 Each Lasagna Noodles
4 Cups Ricotta Cheese
1 Cup Parmesan Cheese
1 Cup Chopped Baby Spinach
¼ Cup Chopped artichokes
¼ Cup Small Dice Roasted Butternut Squash
2 Tbs. Shredded Carrot
2 Tsp. Minced Garlic
2 Tsp. Minced Shallot
1 1/2Tbl. Chopped Fresh Basil
1 Tbs. Chopped Fresh Parsley
1 Tbs. Fine Chopped Chives
Salt & Pepper to Taste
Cook lasagna noodles in salted water until al dente. Combine the remaining ingredients and mix well. Spoon mixture evenly onto each lasagna noodle leaving 1 inch at the end of each noodle with no mixture. Roll the lasagna noodles up and place seam side down in a baking dish and cover with sauce (Red or white sauce). Cover baking dish with plastic wrap first and then tin foil. Bake in 350 degree pre-heated oven until internal temperature reaches 165 degrees.
