Update in Women's Heart Health conference Feb. 17

-
Despite recent advances, cardiovascular disease remains the leading cause of death in women, affecting 500,000 women annually. Women are more likely than men to die after a first heart attack, and thereafter, are more likely to suffer a second heart attack.

The Ministrelli Women's Heart Center is presenting a conference this week to highlight gender differences of heart disease.

The conference is Wednesday morning, Feb. 17 at the Townsend Hotel in Birmingham.

You can learn more about the conference from Dr. Pam Marcovitz in the video player above, or by clicking here. Registration is $30.
