13th Annual Ride for Autism Aug. 5

Since 2005, the Ride for Autism has raised $131,000 to help several organizations focused on children affected by autism.

This year's big event is almost here. The 13th Annual Ride for Autism is on Saturday, August 5.

All motorcycles are welcome at this rain or shine event. Registration and the pancake breakfast begin at 8 a.m. and the ride leaves at 10:30 a.m.

The ride begins at Southfield Civic Center on Evergreen Road in Southfield. The ride ends at Biker Bob's on Telegraph Road in Taylor, where anyone who won't be riding a bike can also meet the group and participate.

This is a great, annual event that FOX 2's Ron Savage loved, and emceed every year. This year, Amy Lange will be standing in as grand marshall for our beloved friend and coworker.
