(WJBK) - The Community House in Birmingham is hosting the Bates Street Block Party September, 10, an outdoor event that features tastings and samples from chefs and caterers in the area.
Vendors will also be there to sample and sell their best cheeses, meats, baked goods, james and other products. Breweries, wineries and distilleries will be there, too.
Tickets can be purchased for $25 in advance and for $30 at the door. Children's tickets are available, too. Children 3 and under are free.
The event is from 4-8 p.m.

ALMOND FLOUR PARMESAN
4 Cups almond flour
3 Tbs nutritional yeast (ground)
1/2 tsp white pepper
1 Tbs garlic
1 Tbs sea salt
Hand mix all ingredients in a bowl and store in an air tight container. Will last for a couple months in the refrigerator. This can be used to garnish countless savory dishes.
