(WJBK) - The C-Fresh Division at Campbell Soup Company & Garden Fresh Gourmet recently rolled out a new line of refrigerated soups. The soups are free of artificial flavors, sweeteners and preservatives and crafted with recognizable ingredients like garden vegetables, herbs, white meat chicken, beans, and grains.
Chef Todd Lyons joined us in the FOX 2 Cooking School to tell us more about the soups, and to show us how we can take the food up a notch with some gourmet toppings. You can get his recipe for parmesan crisps below.
You can get the new soups at Meijer.
You'll need 1/2 cup grated Parmesan
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
- Pour a heaping tablespoon of Parmesan onto a silicone or parchment lined baking sheet and lightly pat down. A silicone baking sheet is highly recommended. Repeat with the remaining cheese, spacing the spoonfuls about a 1/2 inch apart.
- Bake for 3 to 5 minutes or until golden and crisp. Cool.
