Goats milk ice cream recipe
1/4 c Powder sugar
1/2 c Sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1 c Goat milk
2 egg yolks- lightly beaten
2 c heavy cream
Whisk the sugar, salt and goat milk together. Place in a pot and heat over medium heat, do not allow to boil. Beat the egg yolks and pour the hot goat milk and sugar over them and whisk. Place egg and goat milk mixture in pot over low to medium heat and stir constantly until it thickens, approx. 5 minutes. Chill this mixture in a bowl for 2 hours. Take chilled goats milk mixture and stir in heavy cream. Turn with an ice cream maker or with whisk attachment on a kitchen aid with ground dried ice.
