Mr. B's Pub in Royal Oak is hosting a Christmas wine tasting party, Thursday, December 10 from 7 p.m. to midnight.
Owner and Chef Johnny Prep will demonstrate easy and stunning hors d'oeuvres, as well as teach patrons which wine pairs well with different dishes.
The Chef will also feature 15 great value wines which will be available for purchase.

Holiday Chevre Spectacular

8 ounce log chevre (goat cheese)
1 Tbsp. sundried tomatoes, diced fine
1 Tbsp. fresh rosemary, diced fine
1 tsp. fresh garlic, minced
½ cup very good extra virgin olive oil
1 french baguette, sliced into ¼ inch rounds
Spray a large holiday cookie mold with non-stick spray.
Place on a decorative plate.
Press chevre into mold and flatten it with a small knife or offset spatula.
Carefully remove mold.
Sprinkle cheese with garlic, sundried tomatoes, and fresh rosemary.
Slowly drizzle olive oil over cheese, not disturbing the toppings any more than necessary.
Serve with baguette rounds.
