Minnesota 'Jucy Lucy' burger dog recipe

- Central Michigan University takes on Minnesota in the Quick Lane Bowl at Ford Field next week. Executive Chef Joe Nader from The Detroit Lions joins us in the FOX 2 Cooking School to show us what kind of food will be served at the big game. You can find his recipe below.

Minnesota "Jucy Lucy" Burger dog
makes 4 dogs

16oz. ground beef
4 oz. Velveeta cheese
1 each medium yellow onion
1 cup flour
4 each hot dog buns
Salt and pepper
Mustard
Ketchup

Form 4 oz. of ground beef into a hot dog shape tube, stuff with 1 oz. cheese.
Grill or pan fry using salt and pepper to season to taste.
Thinly slice the onions, rinse in cold water. Toss them in the flour with salt and pepper, and fry until golden brown.
Place the burger dog in the bun, top with mustard, ketchup and the fried onions.
Eat and enjoy!
