Bourbon Pecan Chocolate Pie from Grand Traverse Pies

Bourbon Pecan Chocolate Pie
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
½ cup sugar
1 cup corn syrup
1 shot (1.5 oz.) Civilized bourbon
¼ cup butter, melted
1 cups raw pecans, halves
1/3 cup semi-sweet chocolate chunks
1.   Preheat oven to 325° 
2.   Make your favorite 9" pie crust
3.   Break eggs into mixing bowl
4.   Add vanilla and sugar
5.   Mix using wire whisk
6.   Add corn syrup and bourbon, continue mixing
7.   Add butter
8.   Mix until thoroughly combined
9.   Place pecan halves into the bottom your unbaked 9" crust
10. Sprinkle chocolate chunks over pecans
11. Pour the bourbon sugar mixture over pecans, evenly distribute the pecans and chocolate if needed 
12. Place pie on cookie sheet and place in oven
13. Bake for 55 minutes or until pie is set in center
