Brome Burgers now open in Dearborn

Looking for a new hip spot to visit? The new restaurant Brome Burgers opened just a few months ago and is already getting great reviews on social media food sites.

Brome's executive chef, Zane Makky, joined us in the FOX 2 Cooking School to give us an idea of what's on Brome's menu. He also shared his BBQ Sauce recipe with us, which you can find below.

Brome Burgers and Shakes is located at 22062 Michigan Avenue in Dearborn. For more information, visit their website at www.bromeburger.com.

Brome BBQ Sauce
INGREDIENTS
16oz    Honey
32oz    Ketchup
1 Tablespoon  Curry
1 Tablespoon  Black pepper
1 Tablespoon  Paprika
1 Tablespoon  Garlic
½ Teaspoon  Minced Jalapeno
2 Teaspoon  Vegetable oil
¼ Cup   Worcestershire
1 teaspoon  Tabasco
½ Cup   Lemon Juice

Mix all ingredients together.

Signature Salad
INGREDIENTS
4 Cups   Mixed Greens
2 Tablespoons  Cucumber, small diced
2 Tablespoons  Cherry tomatoes,  split in half
1 Teaspoon   Blue cheese crumbles
¼ Apple  Julienned (match sticks)
1 Tablespoon  Candied Walnuts
4 Ounces   Balsamic Dressing

Toss the mixed greens and dressing in a large bowl. Place the tossed greens in a serving bowl and garnish with cucumber, tomato, blue cheese, apples, and the candied walnuts.

We add coconut milk to our balsamic dressing to give it a creamier texture and cut some acidity from the balsamic vinegar.
