Chocolate covered strawberries from Alpine Chocolat Haus

Chocolate Covered Strawberries
8oz Dark Melting Caps
1lb Strawberries, wash and dried well
Chopped Nuts (optional)
Chocolate Shavings (optional)
2oz White Chocolate (optional)
Place chocolate in a heat proof bowl set over (not in) a sauce pan with simmering water *note you do NOT want the water touching the bottom of the bowl it will burn the chocolate*
*(Optional melt chocolate in microwave safe bowl. Microwave in 30 second increments until completely melted)
Stir until the chocolate is completely melted
On a lined baking sheet take your dry, room temperature strawberries and start dipping.
If you are using Chopped nuts, sprinkles, or chocolate shavings now is the time to decorate. If you are drizzling in white chocolate make sure your chocolate is set before decorating
*store at room temperature
