This recipe for a chocolate flourless torte comes courtesy of Executive Chef to the Detroit Lions, Scott Breazeale.
Preheat your oven at 350 degrees.
Pinch of salt
Put these in a pot and bring to a boil
Remove from heat
Add 3 oz of dark cocoa powder and set aside
Chop 9.5 oz of semi sweet chocolate
Add 13.5 oz of butter
Melt these together and mix until smooth
At this point you can add the cocoa mixture to the chocolate butter mixture
Crack 6 whole eggs and add them to the batter, mix until thoroughly combined
At this time if you'd like you can add ¼ cup of your favorite flavored liquor
Line a 9" cake pan with parchment paper, pour batter into pan. Place pan on a sheet pan, pour 2 cups of water in sheet pan.
Bake in center of oven at 350* bake until set, about 45-60 minutes.
