Great Lakes Chef Exchange benefit at The Whitney Oct. 18

Chefs from Detroit and Canada are collaborating to help out a great cause.

Detroit's iconic Whitney Restaurant and Ontario's Killarney Mountain Lodge will put on a fine dining experience on Wednesday, October 18 at The Whitney. The dinner benefits the Cass Community Social Service's tiny homes project.

Executive Chef Natasha Vitti from The Whitney and Executive Chef Guy Bedard from the Killarney Resort joined us in studio to tell us more about the dinner. You can hear from them in the video player above, and get their scallop recipe below.

The price is $75 per person, which includes the five-course dinner, selected wines. Seating is at 7:30 p.m. Guests can make reservations by calling 313-832-5700.
