Jim Brady's Detroit rolling back prices to 1954

Jim Brady's Detroit is rolling back its prices to the original 1954 menu to celebrate its first anniversary in Royal Oak. You can find menu items at their original prices back when the restaurant was Diamond Jim Brady's. A burger and fries are just $1.30!

Proceeds from burger sales will go to the Boys and Girls Club of America. The celebration is happening on Wednesday, November 30.

MAPLE MISO SALMON WITH CAULIFLOWER PUREE

Salmon Prep
Yields: one piece

  • 8 oz Salmon Skinned and trimmed
  • 3 oz Spinach
  • 2 oz Shiitake Mushrooms Stemmed and sliced.
  • 1 oz Maple Miso (see recipe)
  • 20 oz Cauliflower purée (see recipe)

Remove skin. Trim belly fat portion and thin tail pieces. 

Maple Miso Mustard Sauce
Yields: 33 Fl.Oz

  • 8 oz Red Miso
  • 10 oz Whole Grain Mustard
  • 8 fl.oz  Maple Syrup
  • 2 fl.oz Soy sause
  • 4 fl.oz Water
  • 1 oz Honey

Mix all ingredients together until fully incorporated.  Refrigerate until use.

Cauliflower Purée recipe
Yields: 15 Fl. Oz 

  • 1 pound Cauliflower, cook until mush
  • 6 fl. ounces Heavy Cream
  • 4 fl. oz Milk
  • .3 oz Salt

Clean and cut Cauliflower into florets, bring to boil with cream, milk and salt. Puree until smooth.
