Living the Life: appetizer, drink and dessert ideas for your holiday party

  • 1T evoo
  • 2med red onion(julienne)
  • 2oz redwine vinegar
  • 6oz portwine
  • 4sprg (fine chopped)
  • 4 cloves garlic(grated)
  • 2T brown sugar
In small saute pan caramelize onion in evoo 2mins
Add remaining ingredients and simmer until 90% liquid is gone
Serve with shaved roast beef
  • 1cup sourcream
  • 2cloves garlic(minced)
  • 4T horseradish
  • 1/4c chives
  • S&P TT
Fold all ingredients together
Serve with shaved roasted beef on toast
  • 1 shallot minced
  • 1 T evoo
  • 1 6oz bag fresh cranberries
  • 1/4c balsamic vinegar
  • 1/2c maple syrup
Caramelize shallots in evoo 3mins
Add remaining ingredients and simmer until thick and cranberries have popped 
Serve on toast with your favorite cheese
  • 1small sweet potato (fine diced)
  • 1lg green apple(peeled&fineDiced)
  • 1Tevoo
  • 2T DIJON mustard
  • 2T honey
  • 3T chives
Sweet apples & sweet potatoes 1min until slightly tender(chill)
Place all ingredients in bowl and fold until combined 
  • 2lg sweet potatoes (roasted and smashed)
  • 4egg yolks
  • 1/4c sour cream
  • 1/2c panko bread crumbs
  • 1/4c flour
  • 1/2c parmesan
Place smashed potatoes in bowl will all ingredients and fold until well incorporated. Scoop into balls and roll in bread crumbs.
Deep fry 350F until golden crispy 
Top with relish and serve
WRIGHT & CO.'S "Winter Sour"
  • 2oz Bols Genever
  • 1oz White Wine Syrup
  • .5 oz Lemon Juice
  • 1 Egg White
  • barspoon Saba
  • rinse Absinthe
Combine all ingredients into shaker tin except Angostura & Absinthe. Double Shake. Double Strain into an absinthe-rinsed Beer Tulip. Garnish with Angostura and torched cinnamon bark.
WRIGHT & CO.' "Remember Jamaica"
  • 2oz Appleton Signature Rum
  • .75oz Cranberry-Rosemary Syrup
  • .5oz Lemon Juice
  • dsh Angostura
  • dsh St. Elizabeth Allspice Dram
  • torched Rosemary
Combine all ingredients in a shaker tin. Fill Half of cheater tin with Pellet Ice. Shake. Pour contents, unstrained, into a Beer Tulip. Top with ice and garnish with torched rosemary.
