(WJBK) - Dozens of Detroit restaurants and bars are coming together for the 4th Annual Dine Drink Detroit event.
It's a three-week culinary event that begins on Tuesday, October 4 and runs until October 20. Proceeds benefit the Detroit Riverfront Conservancy.
Participating restaurants feature signature food and drink combinations starting at just $15.

PULLED PORK SLIDERS WITH PICO DE GALLO SLAW AND CHEDDAR CHEESE MORNAY
TOPPED WITH ROCK AND RYE BBQ SAUCE AND CRISPY FRIED ONIONS
6 oz pork butt
1/8 cup BBQ rub
1/4 cup BBQ sauce
1 cup shredded Cole slaw mix
1/4 cup mayo
1 Tbsp sirachi
1/8 cup pico de Gallo
1/2 cup crispy fry mix
1/2 onion fine julienne
1/4 cup cheddar cheese
1 cup milk
1/2 cup roux
Slow roast pork with BBQ rub at 325 for 40 minutes, let rest for 20 min. Shred pork using two forks. Then add BBQ sauce. Take Cole slaw mix add mayo and sirachi, let sit for ten minutes and then add in pico de Gallo.
For cheese mornay make 1/2 cup roux 4oz flour and 4 oz butter let cook till light brown add milk and cheddar whisking quickly. Layer slaw on slider buns then pork then cheese sauce. Top with fried onions and serve.
