Salad contest new this year at Michigan State Fair
(WJBK) - A new food competition will take place this year at the Michigan State Fair, a salad contest.
Jerry Ann Hebron, State Fair Urban Agriculture Superintendent, joined us in the FOX 2 Cooking School to tell us more. You can hear from him in the video player above.
Chef Bianca Danzy from Oakland Ave Urban Farm and Real Food Catering by Bianca also joined us to prepare a special salad, an indigo salad with lavendar balsamic vinaigrette. You can get her recipe below.
