Summer grilling with Fenton Fire Hall
(WJBK) - Chef Aaron Cozadd joined us in the FOX 2 Cooking School to give us some summer grilling recipes, which you can find below.

MARINATED TERES MAJOR
.5 cup miso paste
1 T brown sugar
.5 T minced garlic
.5 T minced ginger
.5 cup mirin
.25 cup diced white onion
.25 cup soy sauce
1 Tablespoon sesame oil
5# teres major (cleaned and cut into bite size cubes)
Begin by blending all ingredients in the robo coup.
Next take skewers and soak them in water
Take the steak and begin cleaning and cutting into cubes.
Now skewer the steak and place in a deep dish.
Fully cover the steak skewers in the marinade, cover and place in the refrigerator
Yield: 1 quart
VEGETABLE MARINADE
1 cup soy
2.5 cup pear juice
2.5 fl oz sesame oil
.33 cup chopped garlic
.75 cup chopped green onion
.75 cup brown sugar
.25 cup rice vinegar
.33 cup chopped ginger
Yield: 1 quart
Combine all ingredients and toss with 3 pounds of your favorite grilling vegetables (squash, peppers, mushrooms, onions, etc.)
