This one-pan dinner includes all of your fave fall produce

- Friday, September 22 marked the first day of fall. Grocery stores will soon be full with the key fall harvest staples. Apples and sweet potatoes are in season through October, and brussel sprouts are in season until November.

Grace Derocha of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan joined us on The Nine to show us a recipe that incoporates all of those great all produce. You can hear from her in the video player above, and get her recipe below.

Other great produce in season right now are butternut squash, pumpkin, acorn and spaghetti squash. Those will give you a nice, savory flavor.

Some of the sweeter produce in season are sweet potatoes, carrots, apples, pears and plums.
