Derek does the weather with Livonia 1st graders

LIVONIA, Mich. (WJBK) - When you're 6 years old, it's hard to decide what you want for lunch let alone what you want to be when you grow up. Unless, of course, you're in Mrs. Younan's class where everyone wants to be a weather person.

After Derek Kevra visited the first graders at Cass Elementary two weeks ago, the kids invited him back to show them some tricks of their own.

"They were so excited to have you that they decided that they want to be meteorologists as well. It just so happens my student teacher got a new dishwasher, and we took that box and made it into a TV; it was as simple as that!" says Mrs. Younan.
