Destination HBCU Experience & College Fair April 27

(FOX 2) - Going to college is a big decision, and picking the school is even more important. 

More than 30 historically black colleges and universities will be attending a fair this weekend at Southfield High School for the Arts & Technology. 

Jennifer Smith, the founder, president and college success coach for Closing the Gap Detroit, joined us in studio to tell us more about the event. You can hear from her in the video player above. 

The 2019 Destination HBCU Experience & College Fair will take place Saturday, April 27 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
