DIA features onstage art demos, mobile creative trailer at Arts, Beats & Eats

This weekend, downtown Royal Oak will be packed with more than 100 artists from across the country for the 20th annual Arts, Beats and Eats festival.

Joining FOX 2 is Pam Marcil from the Detroit Institute of Arts and Debbie LaPratt, a juried artist at the festival.

The DIA has partnered with Ford Arts, Beats and Eats and will present four onstage art demonstrations each day of the festival as an extension of its Think Like An Artist exhibit.

They will also feature the DIA Away trailer,  which is a free, mobile interactive classroom for students and a creative exploration space for people of all ages.
