Friends for Animals of Metro Detroit helping hurricane victims

The Friends for Animals of Metro Detroit is working to find homes for all the animals currently in the Dearborn shelter, to make room for pets being rescued and transferred to Michigan after Hurricane Harvey. During the month of September, FAMD is also donating 50% of each donation fee to aid Houston animal rescue efforts. This week's adoptable pet is "Kevin," a 2-year old while mixed breed male. Please complete adoption application online at www.MetroDetroitAnimals.org. This can also be done in person at the Dearborn Animal Shelter, 2661 Greenfield Rd., Dearborn, MI 48120 or Call 313-943-2697. The adoption fee is $250 and includes standard microchip, sterilization and age appropriate vaccinations.
