Friends for Animals of Metro Detroit to host Family Day at new facility

(WJBK) - The Friends for Animals of Metro Detroit is hosting a Family Day on Saturday, September 22, 12-4pm to celebrate the opening of the new animal facility. The event will include food trucks, face-painting and a tour of the new Animal Adoption and Education Center. The new center is located at 16121 Reckinger Road, just off Michigan Avenue near the Henry Ford Centennial Library. For more information call 313-943-2697.
