Fundraiser Wednesday for MDP Fire Pipes and Drums

( Fox 2 ) - The Metro Detroit Police and Fire Pipes and Drums honors police officers and firefighters killed in the line of duty by playing music at funeral services free of charge. But, this group could use your help in raising funds for their uniforms. Your contributions can help them purchase full military dress uniforms for their members. One uniform costs approximately $2,500. Their members purchase their own bagpipes. 

Metro Detroit Police and Fire Pipes and Drums is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization, so all contributions are tax deductible.

There is a fundraiser scheduled for Wednesday, January 16th from 6 p.m. - 11 p.m. at Dino's Lounge in Ferndale.
