Inaugural Heroes Ball Oct. 8

(WJBK) - The Detroit Police Department's 11th Precinct and Detroit's Light Guard Armory are hosting the first ever Heroes Ball in the city to honor first responders and service men and women.

The ball is Saturday, October 8 at 7 p.m. at American Serbian Hall on Van Dyke in Detroit.

The event will be hosted by FOX 2's Huel Perkins, and will have live entertainment, dining and a VIP cocktail hour.
