Madison Schools Summer Food Service program

(WJBK) - The Madison District Public School District is kicking off its Summer Food Service program with a Summer block party on June 23, 2016.

The event will take place from 3 to 6 p.m. Thursday, June 23, at Madison Elementary in Madison Heights. The block party will include free food, games and activities for all ages. There will also be a bounce house for the children, a DJ and prizes.

The summer food service program then begins June 27 at both Madison Elementary and Wilkinson Middle School, 26524 John R Road. The program ends Aug. 3 at Madison Elementary, and Aug. 19 at Wilkinson Middle School.

Breakfast will be served from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. and lunch from 10:30a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Monday through Friday.

This is a free program for anyone between the ages of 0-18 years old.
