Michigan florist: Roses aren't the only Valentine's option

Traditional red roses aren't the only option for Valentine's Day arrangements for your special someone, says Michigan florist Joe Landini.

The floral buyer for Nino Salvaggion International Marketplace stopped by the FOX 2 studio to give some flower-purchasing pointers just in time for the upcoming holiday.

Landini said that while traditional red roses are a safe bet, flowers such as daffodils, hyacinths, hydrangeas and lilies are good alternatives.

"You can pick out whatever flower is your girlfriend's favorite flower (or) her favorite color," he suggested.
