Mitch Albom book signing events for 'Frankie Presto'

(WJBK) - Best-selling author Mitch Albom is at it again, and has written a new book that focuses on the life of musician Frankie Presto.

"He's the greatest guitar player to ever walk the Earth. He's so good that he actually can affect people's lives when he plays, and his strings turn blue when he changes someone's life with his music," Albom explains. "He's a fictional character, kind of like Forrest Gump, and he goes to the entire, sort of 21st Century of music affecting different people."

He says the message of this book is similar to his others -- that everybody always affects somebody's life.
