NoJo Kicks and Cass Tech students donating hundreds of shoes to the homeless

The city of Detroit loves sneakers, but not everyone can afford the latest and greatest pair of Jordans. So, a rare sneaker store in Detroit and some students from Cass Tech are stepping in to help.

Brian Wilson and Brian Forte from Cass Tech say they were inspired to help after seeing those in the homeless community around their school. They then teamed up with the guys from Nojo Kicks.

They're holding a shoe drive on June 10 at the N.S.O. shelter in downtown Detroit. They call it "From the Bottom of our Soles." The drive will go from 8-11 a.m. The N.S.O. shelter is located at 3430 3rd Street.

Nojo Kicks will also be there with 200 pairs of new shoes to donate, along with a barber that will be cutting hair the for homeless.

If you'd like to donate shoes, you can also drop them off at the collection spots at Nojo Kicks and Cass Tech High School.
