Polish stew for St. Mary's 47th Country Fair

Chef Emily VanNest with St. Mary's Preparatory joined us today on The Nine to make Bigos, a traditional Polish stew that will be sold at the 47th Annual St. Mary's Polish Country Fair this Memorial Day Weekend. Steve Kuphal, Fair Chair, came in to give a festival overview. Watch in the video player above.

The fair is hosted and sponsored by the St. Mary's Preparatory Moms and Dads Club and runs Friday, May 25 through Monday, May 28. The event is the nation's largest high school fair, attracting more than 100,000 visitors each year. Benefits go to the students at the more than 130-year-old high school.
