Rosie the Riveter world record attempt

On Saturday, October 24 at Willow Run, there will be an attempt to take back the World Record for the Most Rosie the Riveters. Rockin' Rosies of Richmond beat the original record of 776 Rosies by gathering 1,084 Rosies in California in August, 2015! It is recommended to arrive by noon or earlier to allow time for check-in procedures

To participate, you must follow these 4 easy steps:

STEP 1:  Register online
STEP 2:  Print out and sign the waiver form, and bring it to the event.
STEP 3:  Review the costume guidelines.
STEP 4:  Get the event schedule and directions to Willow Run Airport Hangar One. You can also help spread the word by downloading the event flyer so you can print some up and hand them out to your friends!

The event is free, however you can show your "Rosie Pride" by making a donation to the effort to preserve and renovate Rosie's Willow Run factory as the future new home of the Yankee Air Museum.

Waiver forms will be available at the event, but it'll save you time on event day to sign and bring your own. Doors open at 10:00 A.M, and there will be activities, entertainment, and the spectacle of hundreds and hundreds of Rosie the Riveters! Come early to get the most out of this special day. Check-in tables close at 1:00 P.M., and the staging call for the Official Guinness Photo begins at 1:30 P.M., with all participants needing to be in place in the staging area by 1:50 P.M. At 2:00 P.M., the Official Guinness Photo ceremony begins.

Willow Run Airport Hangar One is located at 801 Kirk Profit Drive in Ypsilanti Township, MI, 48198 on the west side of the Willow Run Airport's airfield.
