Shoot Arrows like Robin Hood at Upcoming Fairy Tale Festival


Motor City Archers' Nick Di Cresce, as well as Edsel & Eleanor Ford House Education Programs Coordinator Gretchen Adams brought along four talented young archers to show off their skills in anticipation for the upcoming Fairy Tale Festival! Watch in the video player above.

Families from across Michigan are invited to test their skills on a bow and arrow, learn circus tricks with Cirque Amongus, and make their own Robin Hood hats and more at the upcoming Fairy Tale Festival.

This year's event will bring the tale of Robin Hood to life with games, crafts, live theatrical performances, photo ops and more.  Food and drinks can be purchased at the festival from food trucks Monkey Business, with a variety of menu options including sandwiches, salads and nachos, and Rita's Italian Ice, offering Italian ice and gelato cookie sandwiches. 


The festival will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on June 23 on the Edsel & Eleanor Ford House grounds in Grosse Pointe Shores.
