DEARBORN, Mich. (WJBK) - Police are asking for help identifying a suspect in an armed robbery of a CVS Pharmacy in Dearborn.
Dearborn police say on July 21, an African American man approached the counter of the CVS Pharmacy at 10335 Warren Ave.
As the employee opened the cash register, the suspect forcibly leaned over the counter and took the money.
The employee attempted to stop him but the suspect pushed her away and took off.
Police say the suspect is tall with a muscular build, and was wearing a red shirt and black pants.
"The boldness of this act is disturbing, as this suspect committed this act with no concern for the employee or other shoppers," Dearborn Police Chief Ronald Haddad said in a release. "The Dearborn Police Department is hoping someone can identify this suspect before his actions result in greater violence."
Anyone with information is asked to call (313) 943-2241.
