Kidney Walk at the Detroit Zoo May 15

(WJBK) - For the 20th consecutive year, The National Kidney Foundation of Michigan is holding its annual Kidney Walk at the Detroit Zoo.

The walk is Sunday, May 15. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. and the walk starts an hour later. You can get more information here.

In the video above, hear from student Ajai Shaw and her teacher Jennifer Frankling. Jennifer started a Kidney Walk team in support of Ajai, who has focal segmental glomerulosclerosis (FSGS) and is in need of a new kidney.
